Thyroid markers mainly consists of TSH, T4 & T3 hormones. These hormones
are released by pituitary & thyroid glands respectively in response to
feedback mechanism of Hypothalimic-Pitutiary-thyroid-axis. These
hormones are found in protein bound or inactive form and unbound or free
hormone form.
